In 2001 old olive oil mill was prepared for making and aging red wine of the tempranillo varietal. The grapes come from the family’s vineyard planted on the sandy area.
From the beginning our aim is to produce - by the natural and original way with a long maceration process, showing the maximum expression of the ‘hairy tempranillo’ of our land. Our wine is an achievement of the grape variety, ground and climate (elegant, meaty, with smooth and long tannins).
We were doing and we are still proceeding with tests of long macerations and aging with lees, as well as fermentations in oak barrels, looking for the highest expression of our grapes.
